Camtasia Export Uncompressed
I am exporting uncompressed avi video in camtasia. it imports into premiere cs5 fine. part of the video in the timeline will have a horizontal flicker. it's weird, it only does it to part of the video. outside of premiere the avi plays fine. inside premiere, part of it flickers. exporting the video, it still flickers.. Ok using camtasia at 30 fps with res of 1024 x 768 i record clip then save uncompressed ok i export from prem cs4 using uncompressed v210 codec the uncompressed file i then imported into prem pro,,, picture great but there is a thin green line down one side. While it looks fine, exporting from camtasia involves recompressing to an output codec for local or web playback such as flash or windows media, but no consideration for tv playback. your best bet is to choose "full frames (uncompressed)". the file will be huge! then recompress as mpeg 2 for dvd or export to tape..
Because if it's just the .mov export out of camtasia that is causing you headaches then you could export to any other format that works (e.g. .avi, .mp4) with a codec that quicktime understands (h.264) or uncompressed, load it in quicktime and do an export from there.. Camtasia 9 and later on windows 8.1 and windows 10 if you are running windows 8.1 and later, camtasia 9 does not require a 3 rd party ac-3 audio filter. camtasia 9 uses the audio decoder provided by windows.. Canvas video dimensions are set when you add video to the timeline with the edit > project settings option in camtasia. amount of movement in the video the more movement in the video, the larger the file size will be..
